The new 3,006-passenger Carnival Splendor is one of the latest of the Carnival ships, set to debut in July 2008 as the largest “Fun Ship” in the fleet. The new class vessel offers a number of innovative new features, including a luxurious 21,000-square-foot spa and large open glass walled pool, along with a 270-square foot outdoor movie screen. The main public rooms on Carnival Splendor have been designed in a variety of whimsical and inventive themes. Passengers will experience “winning hands” in the Royal Flush Casino or perhaps the feel of Old Spanish sidewalk cafes in the El Mojito promenade bar, just one of many themed bars on the ship.
